Mr. E. Shanmugam is the driving force behind PS Group and a highly respected name in the automotive component manufacturing industry. A Mechanical Engineer from Chennai, he brings over three decades of deep, hands-on experience in camshaft manufacturing, precision machining, and automotive component production.
Throughout his career, he has worked in senior roles across leading organizations, gaining extensive expertise in chilled camshafts, steel-bar and forged camshafts, induction hardening, grinding technologies, and high-precision machining. His vast technical knowledge has also led him to work as a consultant in India and abroad, contributing to major advancements in camshaft manufacturing processes.
Under his visionary leadership, PS Group has grown into a highprecision, cost-effective, and technologically advanced manufacturer with strong capabilities in machining and foundry operations. His focus on quality, discipline, innovation, and customer satisfaction continues to shape the company’s culture and strategic direction.
